My name is Khalid Strickland and I am from New York City, currently residing in New Jersey. I try not to rush my English lessons, I follow the pace of my student so my teaching is easy to understand. I enjoy exercising at the gym, watching sports and playing video games and rising bikes with my 10-year old son. I'm an illustrator. I'm a journalist with published articles in newspapers and magazines. I'm also heavily into cinema.

はじめまして。ななと申します。現在まで19年間書道を続け、教授免許・七段位を取得しておしております。日本の文化である【書道】を通して、実技はもちろん、おもてなしの心を学べる素晴らしい日本の文化を世界中の方に知っていただきたいと思い開設いたしました。ワンレッスンで、自分のお名前が書けるようになるよう、分かりやすくレッスンをいたします。楽しむことをモットーにたくさんの方々と繋がれることを祈っております。
楷書・行書・ひらがな・草書・隷書・臨書・筆ペンなど幅広い書体を学んでおります。
書道の歴史も学んでおりますので、歴史のみを学びたい方もぜひご相談ください。

nice to meet you. My name is Nana. I have been practicing calligraphy for 19 years and have obtained a teaching license and 7th dan rank. We opened this school because we wanted people all over the world to learn about the wonderful Japanese culture, where you can not only learn practical skills but also the spirit of hospitality through the Japanese culture of calligraphy. We will give you an easy-to-understand lesson so that you can write your own name in just one lesson. I hope that I can connect with many people with the motto of having fun.
We are learning a wide range of calligraphy styles including Kaisho, Gyosho, Hiragana, Cursive, Reisho, and Rinsho.
We also study the history of calligraphy, so if you only want to learn about the history, please feel free to contact us.

子供書道教室(まいこ書道教室)を横浜・川崎で2017年に開室し、教室のレッスンの傍ら、企業様リクリエーション用のレッスンもしております。
対面レッスン、オンラインレッスン、両方からのアプローチをして参りました。
2022年現在オーストラリアに拠点を移しています。
3児の母で、育児を強みに今の世代の子どもたちへの書道教育を考えつつ、現役育児ママさんやフルタイム勤務さんへのレッスンも行っています。
書道に興味はあるが、スケジュール組みに不安、オンラインで書道ができるのか不安、などいろいろ心配があって踏み込めないなどあるかとおもいます。是非一度ご相談ください！
