【英語の経験】

☆中学２年生までは英語大嫌い＋不得意だったが、中学３年で勉強をして英語がだんだん好きになり同時に成績もアップ。

☆高校、大学は英語が得意だったが、話せないという自覚あり！

☆ロサンゼルスに来てどんだけ自分が英語話せないかということにショックを受け、英語の勉強、発音矯正の授業をマンツーマンで受ける。

皆さん初めまして。ドラム，パーカッション、そしてリズムトレーニング講師の小川と申します。また、語学講師としてスペイン語と日本語を教えています(^-^)

講師歴18年。日本最大手音楽教室Y社の講師を15年、ドラムプロショップでキッズクラス講師を10年勤めていました。
なぜ過去形かと言うと、ラテンミュージック研究のため、2018年よりメキシコに移住して生活しているからです。
こちらメキシコでも同じく音楽教室でスペイン語でドラムのレッスンをしています。

今までに指導してきた生徒さんの数は500名を越えます。その生徒さんの90％以上が未経験者です。
私のレッスンのモットーは

「より分かりやすく。より見えるレッスン」

楽器の経験もない。楽譜も読めない。大丈夫です！
「見えない音楽を見える化」する事で、複雑に見える音楽，リズムの世界を紐解いていきます。

私の人生はリズム探求の人生だと感じています。
2007年に始めた海外音楽修業の旅。
ブラックミュージックのGrooveが大好きで、リズムのルーツを探るべく

・ケニア
・コンゴ
・ジャマイカ
・キューバ
へ渡航し、リズムの感じ方や考え方，捉え方がまるで違う事を実体験。それを昇華してレッスンにも応用。
数多くの生徒さんの成長を目の当たりにしてきました。
ありきたりでない切り口、教則本には載っていないスキル、実体験してきた生きた心，音が私にはあります！

Hi my name is Brock and I live in New York City in the United States. My hobbies include playing soccer, scuba diving, and snowboarding. I am very excited to teach you all English and I promise I will make it fun. My teaching style is conversational which allows students to learn on the go. I feel being as immersed in the culture as possible by being in a conversational environment will help students learn at a much faster pace.
