Cooking with children not only helps them develop healthy eating habits but also provides valuable learning experiences. Depending on their age, I will give kids age-appropriate tasks. Younger children can stir, wash vegetables, or set the table. Older children can help with chopping (with supervision), measuring ingredients, and following recipes. After cooking a meal together, sit down as a family to enjoy the food. Praise their efforts and talk about what went well or what they learned. Celebrating small victories helps boost their confidence and interest in cooking.
