My name is Jonathan C. Shih, I’m a Visual Artist, Graphic Designer and Art Teacher
My method of instruction is simple. I only teach technique to students; I never tell them what they should create. Art is highly subjective and a product of one’s vision and imagination, which I believe should not be deterred by instruction. I try my best not to deter students from taking up art projects at any level, even if they are only beginners. It is only through trial and error that a person understands his/her capabilities and limitations. The freedom to create is what forms the basis of my instruction in the vast and beautiful field of Art.

Hello there! I'm Charles, and my students call me Charley, a friendly and professional English teacher who loves to share the joys of language learning with students. I'm eager to connect with the diverse community of learners in Japan.
