My name is Jonathan C. Shih, I’m a Visual Artist, Graphic Designer and Art Teacher
My method of instruction is simple. I only teach technique to students; I never tell them what they should create. Art is highly subjective and a product of one’s vision and imagination, which I believe should not be deterred by instruction. I try my best not to deter students from taking up art projects at any level, even if they are only beginners. It is only through trial and error that a person understands his/her capabilities and limitations. The freedom to create is what forms the basis of my instruction in the vast and beautiful field of Art.

【毛筆・硬筆】＆【ハングルカリグラフィー】が学べる！

こども向け書道教室、韓国好きの方向けハングルカリグラフィー教室です。

★書道
対象：3歳から小学6年生までのお子さま
内容：毛筆・硬筆
かな書道会書道師範資格保有の講師が指導致します。自宅の書道教室では「上手に書けたね！」「どこを直したほうがいいと思う？」と生徒さんと一緒に考え、寄り添いながら指導しております。書道誌に基づいて毎月の課題を書きながら学習していきます。級や段の取得も可能です。えんぴつの持ち方、姿勢などの基礎から指導致します。「座ってひとつのことに集中する力」を書道を通して生徒さんに見つけてほしいと思っています。

★ハングルカリグラフィー
対象：韓国好きの方　子どもから大人までOK
内容：筆ペンで書くハングルカリグラフィー
テキストを使って、線の書き方など基礎から学べます。初心者の方でも安心して学習できます。韓国語の読み書きが出来なくても大丈夫！中級・上級の方はメッセージカードなどの作品制作も可能です。子育てを終えた50〜60代の生徒さんが中心です。韓国アイドルが好きな学生さんもいらっしゃいます。韓国語を勉強したい方、ハングルで文字を書いてみたい方、趣味を増やしたい方に「書けた！」の喜びをお届けしたいと考えています。

Hello! My name is Kristina Israyelyan, and I’m from Armenia. I am a passionate language teacher with years of experience teaching Chinese and English to students of different backgrounds. My goal is to make learning enjoyable, interactive, and practical, so you can confidently use the language in real-life situations.

In my lessons, I focus on communication, helping students build strong pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar skills step by step. I personalize each lesson based on your learning style and goals, whether it’s for daily conversation, travel, work, or exam preparation. I use a variety of materials, including worksheets, audio, video clips, and real-life examples, to make learning effective and engaging.

Beyond teaching, I love learning new languages, exploring new places, and creating visually appealing content through graphic design. I look forward to meeting you and helping you succeed in your language-learning journey!
