Hello English language learning community, my name is Justin. I hope to provide English conversation practice for English language learners of all skill levels. So whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced learner, you are welcome to contact me.

A little bit about me:
I am a 29-year-old male currently attending Japanese language school in Osaka, Japan. My usual hobbies include drawing, listening to music, going for walks, video games and anime/manga. I also have an interest in learning about foreign cultures. Along Japanese, I've recently become interested to start learning about Chinese culture. Our conversations do not have to be about those topics because I am interested in learning about other people regardless. However, if you'd like to talk about those topics we definitely can.

Since coming to Japan, my favorite food has become ramen.

After completing Japanese language school, I plan to advance to vocational (art) school in Osaka in 2024. So I will be living in Japan for several years.

I do not have an official background in teaching. However, I do teach conversational English to adults in Kyoto Japan on Saturdays. I am also currently being trained to teach children from ages 5 and above.

About my lessons:
We can practice topics like English grammar and pronunciation. Or, if you'd just like an English conversation practice partner, then feel free to contact me.

Simply put, the lessons will be conducted in the following format

-For the initial lesson, we will introduce ourselves, and move onto English conversation about any topic.
(lesson duration 55-60 minutes)

-At the end of each session you'll be given homework to do by the next time we are scheduled. The homework is usually based on a simple topic of discussion. It will be similar to a diary.
(Homework is only given if a client/student wants to continue on after trial lesson).

-The next scheduled lesson will consist of 30 minutes of conversation and 30 minutes of homework correction and general grammar review.

Lesson pricing, duration, timing, and method (Skype, Discord, Line, Zoom etc.) can all be negotiated.

You are also not restricted to my conversational method. If you have a lesson style you'd like to do instead, or just want open conversation practice (no homework or grammar review) we can do lessons in those ways as well.

My availability (in Japan time) is from 6pm on weekdays. On weekends, I am only free on Sunday.

*For Japanese English learners. I have about an N4~N3 level of Japanese proficiency. I will focus on using English in lessons, but I may switch to Japanese if I find it will help in explaination.

STEP 1

必要なのはインターネット環境だけ

*Google Meetとは？

MeeCooでは、Googleが提供するビデオ会議ツール「Google Meet」を使ってオンラインレッスンを行います。
アプリのインストールもGoogleアカウントも不要。インターネットにつながるパソコン・スマホ・タブレットがあれば、今すぐ始められます。
レッスン時間になったらボタンをクリックするだけで、すぐに先生とつながれます。


STEP 2

先生プロフィールから自分に合う先生を見つける

MeeCooでは、先生プロフィールからレッスン内容・料金・レビュー・対応言語など、さまざまな情報をご確認いただけます。
複数の先生を比較しながら、ご自身の目的やレベルに合った先生を探せるのが特徴です。
はじめての方でも、プロフィールを見ながら安心して先生選びを進められます。


STEP 3

無料生徒登録で先生とのやり取りをはじめる

気になる先生が見つかったら、まずは無料生徒登録。
生徒登録をすると、MeeCoo内で先生にメッセージを送ったり、そのまま予約に進むことができます。
レッスン日時や内容を確認しながら、安心して受講準備を進められます。

STEP 4

レッスン内容が決まったらMeeCoo上でお支払い

レッスン日時や内容が決まったら、MeeCoo上でお支払い手続きを行います。
レッスン料金はサイト内で使えるコインでお支払いいただく仕組みのため、オンラインでも安心してご利用いただけます。
コインはマイページからいつでもチャージ可能です。

※講師側からレッスン料金の請求が届く場合は、メール内または講師とのメッセージ画面上部の「コインを支払う」ボタンからお支払いいただけます。

コインのお支払いが完了すると、「Google Meet」ボタンが自動で発行され、生徒・講師の双方に共有されます。
ボタンは以下の3箇所からご確認いただけます。

  • 配信メール（件名：レッスンコインの支払完了【MeeCoo】）
  • 対象講師とのチャットページ上部
  • レッスン予定ページ

Google Meetでオンラインレッスンをスタート

※万一、レッスン料金（コイン）をお支払い後にオンラインレッスンが実施されなかった場合は、講師とのメッセージページ上部の「履歴」より返金申請を実施ください。
