Teaching music is an exciting and rewarding experience because it engages students both emotionally and intellectually. Raising children and cooking might seem like two separate things, but they can actually go hand-in-hand! Cooking with children not only helps them develop healthy eating habits but also provides valuable learning experiences. Depending on their age, I will give kids age-appropriate tasks. Younger children can stir, wash vegetables, or set the table. Older children can help with chopping (with supervision), measuring ingredients, and following recipes. After cooking a meal together, sit down as a family to enjoy the food. Praise their efforts and talk about what went well or what they learned. Celebrating small victories helps boost their confidence and interest in cooking.
